Tons of people are apparently trying to get hired as Ryan's next assistant as "J" becomes history. Ostler was recently spotted going out with a huge group to a Japanese steak-house, he was "hooked up with a cute blonde that has a southern accent"....maybe he was interviewing her to the position! Ana, Jake Shears and co received rapturous applause at the Koko club in Camden last night, despite a verbal assault on the Jackson's. Ana Matronic slated Janet Jackson calling her a "crack whore." Following it up with "But we do love the Jackson family though." The American glam rock band entertained the frenzied crowd with oldies Comfortably Numb & Laura. Filthy Gorgeous was the climax as Ana dedicated it "to all the trannies out there." Scissor Sisters were at Koko Club, London for the MTV Video Music Awards Live.

Doherty Eviction

Pete Doherty is being evicted from his £350,000 east London flat. The Babyshambles singer is said to owe over £10,000 in rent. Apparently Pete has trashed the flat in scenes reminiscent of the punk era, the walls are covered in graffiti and blood. He's not too bothered at the moment as he is comfortably undergoing rehab in The Priory, after which it looks like Pete has two options left, Kate Moss's pad or prison. Tough choice Pete?

Afflect was apparently taking a rest in his dressing room when the eight legged beast crawled into one of his shoes for a siesta, after putting on his shoe he got bitten and his foot swelled to the size of a balloon. Hollywood gossip just doesn't get any better than this!

Breaking nudes

Rumour has it that the post production team had to airbrush down certain areas of Brandon Routh's body for the latest Superman film. Now Playgirl have offered Routh £275,000 to get his cape (and the rest) off. The new Superman has not responded at the speed of light to the generous offer and is believed not to be that comfortable with nudity.

Abigail Clancy has been dumped by the lanky football star Peter Crouch. 25 year old Crouch was so ashamed at her behaviour during the World Cup as she spent the players cash on drugs rather than designer clothes and handbags. After thirty years one of the most exciting events in the UK has to be the British International Motor Show. The show is going to be full of celebrities and the organisers have decided to throw one big party in the form of Dock Rock. Driving home the sounds over the ten days will be a host of acts masterminded by Harvey Goldsmith, including A-HA, Van Morrison, UB40, Roxy Music, Simple Minds, Sugababes, Katherine Jenkins, Jools Holland & his rhythm & blues orchestra and The Australian Pink Floyd. The ExCel Dock is about to rock. Meanwhile the big motor companies are on the brand-wagon and searching for top celebrity faces to mention when it comes to who drives their vehicles. So who drives what? Maria Sharapova seems to be rather fond of big chunky vehicles from the Land Rover stable, apparently a big fan of the latest Freelander 2, although she does admit to having Range Rovers after becoming addicted on her first drive at the age of 15! Celebrity fans of the green scene include Hollywood Toyota Prius drivers Billy Crystal, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Leonardo diCaprio and Cameron Diaz. King of cool, Bryan Ferry is just down right greedy when it comes to cars, he's gone from a 1957 Studebaker to a series of Morris Minor convertibles, 1989 Corvette, Land Rover Defender, BMW Mini, and he reckons that the best car he has ever owned was the long-wheel base Audi A8. That's all coming from the man whose band, Roxy Music, toured in a big old clunky Daimler in the seventies.

Ok so the WAG's have gone over the top spending their celebrity football players wages, the UK wives and girlfriends have shamed the rest of the world with their extravagant shopping habits. Sienna Miller and co-star James Franco caught snogging....again.

Jude Law's on-off squeeze Miller was photographed having a full on lip lock with 'Spider-Man' star Franco in Toronto, Canada recently.

The movie couple are in the Canadian city filming the comedy 'Camille' and according to eye witnesses looked "very into each other" as they took in a movie, concert and dinner.

Earlier this year, Sienna Miller was allegedly getting over friendly with another co-star, Hayden Christensen. It's also not the first time for James Franco to be seen cavorting with Miller in public.

Celebrity sporting gossip

We hear that Ryan Ostler is turning his attention to designing extreme threads for the next World Cup, he's been talking to UK style guru Beckham over a red, white and blue thong with a matching vest. Robbie Williams has decided to trade in his singing career to join Pete Doherty in training, the two hope to join the next England World Cup squad. Wayne Rooney has decided to quit football all together in a bid to take up a singing career in a new Brit-pop boy band. This is quite interesting as we've never heard him talk nor did we see his lips move when the rest of the squad were miming God Save The Queen.

Johnny Roger

Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley spent more than an hour chatting to thousands of fans in the sweltering London heatwave last night at the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Knightley was practically exposing herself in a golden Gucci number which was hanging off of her narrowing frame. Security staff sprayed water over the crowd to help them cool off, more due to the heat than Keira's Gucci dress. Keira said: "It's quite crazy out there. Celebrity Football

We know nothing about football apart from that the top players have now reached celebrity status and probably earn too much money, thus taking their eye off the ball and making even more money from sponsorship, branding and advertising deals. So what is our prediction? A France Italy final, an early French goal with nice guy Zidane losing it and getting sent off, leading to extra time and penalties. A close run game with Italy just managing to win. I wonder what odds we'll get this late into the finals. Whatever happens we're sure that the top players from the losing sides will reap the rewards of even more deals from the top fashion brands, whilst the WAG's (wives and girlfriends) continue to support the cause in their self inflicted addiction to shopping. Meow!

Ugly face of fashion

It was not a firm favourite for everyone, but today sees the collapse of the UK high street fashion chain Morgan. Theodora Richards, daughter of Keith Richards was unveiled as the new face of the brand last year. Danni Minogue and Tamsin Outhwaite were also fond of the Morgan brand. So where do you go next......Primark perhaps! Glamour magazine woman of the year, Kylie Minogue is heading over for Sir Elton John's White Tie & Tiara party tonight at his Old Windsor mansion. Robbie Williams, Take That, Elle Macpherson, Liz Hurley, Posh Becks and one of the most influential men in the music industry EMI boss Alain Levy are also on the guest list. We have not opened the mail yet today but have been assured that our invitation has been sent out.

Camp, cool and very clever - The Pet Shop Boys played the Tower of London last night. It was hi-energy at its best and the crowd loved every second of it, even the Beefeaters were seen to be enjoying the concert which towards the end felt more like a rave. The Pet Shop Boys do was the first of 10 concerts in the line up of the Tower Music Festival. Latest celeb gossip - A pregnant Britney Spears bares all on the cover of the August issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine. 19 year-old Scottish tennis star Andy Murray announced that he'll be supporting "anyone but England" in the World Cup. East of Eden

Where are you going to holiday this year? For the seriously rich and famous celebrities there is only one place, you would of thought that if you had pots of money that you'd find some remote spot to hide away, but no they need to be seen and there is only one place to be seen for celebs on holiday and that is the Eden Roc Hotel in Antibes. Yes this hot spot for celebrities on the French Riviera has been frequented recently by Harvey Weinstein, Dennis Quaid, George Clooney, Kirsten Dunst and Wonderbra's Eva Herzigova. Eden Roc or Hotel du Cap as it's known is situated on the shores of Lago Maggiore with its own private beach and is a snip at £570 a night for a superior room.

Brave man Ryan Ostler pulled his brand from public view during the last year, his surf, skate and snowboard clothing brand was removed from retailers, the printing presses stopped churning out his catalogues and he even pulled the plug on his online store, in fact everything showing Ostler's name was removed from public contact......apart from the man himself. Well we've tracked him down and he's about to re-launch his brand. In a recent interview with the man himself, Ostler said "We don't do things half-way. That's not how "Ostler" became the brand it is." He added "There seems to be a lot of public interest regarding the clothing, and lately, about my personal life. I have been concentrating on making sure things go really well with the clothing production and this re-modeling stage of "Ostler." I've been made aware of the gossip about me, but I don't pay attention. It's gossip. It's the tabloids. That's their job, I guess. I just live my life, like anybody else." The world's richest man, Bill Gates is giving up his day job to concentrate on charity work. Cruise to Japan

Tom Cruise will travel by speed boat whilst being chased by a helicopter underneath Tokyo's Rainbow Bridge on June 20 for the Tokyo premiere of Mission: Impossible III. Reality bites back, it's not just the viewer ratings that have taken a dip for reality TV shows, the third Big Brother contestant walked out this week, George has left the Big Brother house without eviction, claiming 'fame is not me!' bless him! Shahbaz was the first to leave owing to lack of popularity (apparently referring to him and not the actual show!) and Dawn was kicked out after 'breaking serious rules', can't wait to hear all about that! Big Brother is like living in a student pad, if you annoy your house-mates enough you either walk or they kick you out........at least that's what the producer told me. But what if they annoy you and watch Big Brother!

Sir Elton lost it again last night whilst presenting an award to a young actor in Cannes. He presented The Chopard Trophy to 21 year-old Kevin Zegers a young Canadian actor who co-starred in the film "Transamerica" with Felicity Huffman. Sir Elton accompanied by Elizabeth Hurley lost it when photographers called out during his presentation and rapidly retaliated with "....I'm talking you f***wit, f'ing photographers you should all be shot..."

Paris Je T'Aime

Emmanuel Benbihy said he would not attend last nights screening of Paris Je T'Aime in Cannes, he was unhappy with the final cut of the film and has obtained a court order to block its distribution. Paris Je T'Aime is a series of vignettes shot in the French capital and stars Natalie Portman, Juliette Binoche, Bob Hoskins and Nick Nolte. Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Saarsgard were hand in hand on the red carpet for its premier. Paris Je T'Aime (Paris I Love You) is/was due for release in France on June 21st.

The reaction to last nights pre-premiere screening of The Da Vinci Code for international movie critics was tepid to say the least. One source claimed the response from the press was largely negative, another claimed loud laughter during one of the main scenes. Stephen Schaefer from the Boston Herald said: "Nothing really works. It's not suspenseful*. It's not romantic. It's certainly not fun." *Even my American spell-checker had a problem with that one! The Da Vinci Code Eurostar train safely delivered the film's cast and director to Cannes last night. The 59th Cannes Film Festival officially began a few hours ago with the world premiere of The Da Vinci Code. The Festival de Cannes has now officially started with The Da Vinci Code crew leading the way up the red carpet, Tom Hanks stopped and made a gesture to the thousands of spectators to follow them. Then came the official Cannes jury, with Wong Kar Wai in front and Zhang Ziyi, Monica Bellucci classically dressed in a sparkling long black dress, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Helena Bonham Carter alongside, together with Patrice Leconte, Elia Suleiman and Lucrecia Martel. The celebrity hungry crowd were also able to catch a brief glimpse of Sidney Poitier before he officially opened the ceremony with his well received speech "Before you, in a place impregnated with an atmosphere which so many geniuses have known, it is an inestimable privilege to welcome the motion-picture generation of today and tomorrow. Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great respect that I hereby declare the 59th Festival de Cannes open."

As millions of fashion conscious trend-hunters were scouring the web, forums and anything e-entertainment related in search of the best websites for Hollywood gossip news, Natalie Portman surprised the world when she turned up at Cannes last year with a shaven head....whilst the rest of us were still trying to figure out what a "Sedu" hairstyle was! Best critic - The Da Vinci Code

Who best to ask what they think of a film than the lead actor. Tom Hanks seemed to play down the film when interviewed by the London Evening Standard, referring to it as "a good story not to be taken too seriously," perhaps his comments were more aimed at the Roman Catholic community to ensure they are not missing when it comes to box office takings. A senior Vatican official, Archbishop Angelo Amato, called for a boycott of the film, describing the book as "stridently anti-Christian." Watch the film and you'll understand! So first the Da Vinci Code book, then the Quest online game, then the film, now the train....yes the Da Vinci Code train left Waterloo station this morning on it's way to Cannes. Eurostar chairman Guillaume Pepy, Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou , Sir Ian McKellen, director Ron Howard and author Dan Brown got together to unveil the latest part of the film's promotional 'brand-wagon' by way of a co-branded Eurostar train. If you think it stops there think again, after the celebrities have had their fun you'll be able to book "The Da Vinci Adventure" travelling on The Da Vinci Code Train, visit the Louvre Museum and join a treasure hunt to win 200,000 Euros....Da Vinci Code hotel rooms thrown in as part of the package....actually sounds like a lot of fun! Anyway back on track - Two days after the world premier the French police have indicated that they intend to go on strike outside the Palais des Festivals, headquarters of the Cannes International Film Festival, although we are led to believe that the strike has nothing to do with the festival, it is more to do with "working conditions".........heat, celebrities, Hollywood gossip, parties etc. The Da Vinci Code premiers on Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival......yikes that's tomorrow.

If you are in the US you will more than likely be familiar with at least one of these names, and we are hedging our bets that it's Ecko, if not you may have heard of his world famous Rhino brand. Tom baby is back in the US, he'll be on The Ellen show later today and after jumping over the sofa he'll be chatting to host Ellen DeGeneres about the latest addition to the family and how his fiancée Kate Holmes plans to spend her first Mother's Day. We hear he's bringing pictures of baby Suri along with him.......good news if you are in the US and an evening of channel hopping for the Europeans.

So what's the latest Tom baby news? Well Tom baby seemed to go on a European shopping spree for newly born Suri during the premier of Mission Impossible III. He was showered with Burberry baby clothes during an MTV interview in London, he cut short his engagements to go shopping in Paris and in Rome he told reporters "My mission impossible was to be here today," as he picked up a teddy thrown from the crowds. So is Tom baby.... and baby back at home decorating the nursery or what? It's all gone pretty quiet on the Tom baby front. We wish Tom, baby Suri and Katie Holmes all the best.
