Jag C-X75 ... we want one of these!

Jaguar revealed the stunning C-X75 concept car at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 205 mph four-wheel drive supercar is capable of running in purely electric (zero tailpipe emissions) mode for 68 miles on a six-hour domestic plug-in charge. The innovative, lightweight micro gas-turbines are also capable of very quickly and efficiently recharging the Lithium-ion batteries, giving the car a theoretical range of 560 miles.

Because each wheel is driven by its own electric motor, the C-X75 is four-wheel drive - with all the traction, grip and safety benefits that entails.

The C-X75 boasts advanced design features such as a ground-breaking propulsion system, and active aerodynamics allow for an elegantly simple fuselage section that remains stable at very high speeds.

...and it's silver! Yummy...We love it.

R is for...

GeRman
PoRsche

Or

Just sheer grrrrrrR

With 2 metres of snow on the ground, students creating havoc on the streets of London and the world’s secrets leaking out of a Wiki something or other... you’d be forgiven for not having spotted the announcement of the new Porsche Cayman R.

‘R’ we’re told is not reserved for a nod of appreciation from a West Country farmer, but for something very special from the Porsche stable, yes it’s R for exclusive from the German car giant, like last year’s 911 GT3 R and the 911 R back in the late 60’s. In fact R for rare as there were only 19 made!

So why does the new Cayman get the R status?

An additional 10 hoRsepower perhaps which gets it from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds. Or the top speed of 175 miles peR hour? Or the fact that it’s lighteR.

Whatever it is... it looks absolutely awesome with the twin tail pipes and classic 60’s PORSCHE branding along each side of the car. Although not available until February 2011, it seems a snip at just £45,000...the difficult part is deciding what colour to order.

14 Year Old Fashion Blogger to Launch Teen Magazine

She's 14 years old, has 20,000 followers on Twitter and her fashion blog landed her front row seats at New York Fashion Week.

There seems to be no holding back fashion blogger, Tavi Gevinson as she now shares her excitement prior to the launch of her new teenage fashion magazine. Founder of the folded teen magazine, Sassy, Jane Pratt, got together with Gevinson after she saw here passionate blog entries on her love for Sassi magazine. They've now agreed to create a magazine targeted at "wall-flowery teenage girls."

They're aiming to create a "teen-magazine-that-doesn't-suck," and, although the details surrounding content are still vague, Gevinson blogs that the vibe of the magazine will be "for the people, by the people."

Gevinson is looking for contributors for the as yet, unnamed title, rumoured to launch with a website in the spring and publish three print issues a year, beginning autumn 2011.

"I have a really good feeling about this," Gevinson writes. "Exciting, right?'

Good luck Tavi.

3DD Breasts

Four words:
Breasts in 3D
Yeah it is not that much more complicated than that. 3DD is a simple concept and one that the photographer hopes you enjoy as much as he does!

Henry Hargreaves is a New York based photographer and breast enthusiast. His love of taking photos and the female form started as a young boy in New Zealand and as an adult he has practiced both hobbies in many countries of the world. The opportunity to combine two of his greatest passions was only a matter of time.

The idea to do it in 3-D, well that was a stroke of genius.

So grab a pair of glasses and enjoy.

Beating a Path

Today sees the launch of Path - The Personal Network. Practically all of us carry a camera phone, and our photos tell the stories of our lives. Starting today, Path is being billed as the place you will always feel comfortable being yourself and sharing the story of your life with your closest friends and family via the photos you take every day with your mobile device.

Launching today on the App Store on iPhone. If you do not have an iPhone, you can still register and check out Path through your browser.

So, what is Path?

Path is the personal network. A place to be yourself and share life with close friends and family. The personal network doesn’t replace your existing social networks – it augments them.

Path allows you to capture your life’s most personal moments and share them with the 50 close friends and family in your life who matter most.

Because your personal network is limited to your 50 closest friends and family, you can always trust that you can post any moment, no matter how personal. Path is a place where you can be yourself.

So does a picture paint a thousand words?
Capturing a moment on Path is simple and contextual. Simply take a photo with your camera on iPhone or iPod Touch and add context around that moment in the form of tags for people, places and things. These tags provide 3 types of context to help capture a moment.

Sharing

No more embarrassing Oooops moments! On Path, you can control who you are sharing your personal moments with. (So let's hope your real friends don't end up posting your memories to their 570 Facebook pals!)

So why only 50?
Path claim "50 based on the research of Oxford Professor of Evolutionary Psychology Robin Dunbar, who has long suggested that 150 is the maximum number of social relationships that the human brain can sustain at any given time. Dunbar’s research also shows that personal relationships tend to expand in factors of roughly 3. So while we may have 5 people whom we consider to be our closest friends, and 20 whom we maintain regular contact with, 50 is roughly the outer boundary of our personal networks. These are the people we trust, whom we are building trust with, and whom we consider to be the most important and valued people in our lives."

Seeing is believing...

Path is available from the App Store on iPhone or in the App Store now.

We'll give it a whirl and let you know how we get on.
