Trend Marketing
Well we thought we'd heard it all, but the very latest (in fact not yet launched) is from the upstart marketing outfit Media Propensity. We've heard a rumour that these guys, backed by a leading economist and some hot-shots from the marketing and advertising world, are about to shake things up a little with what they call "Base Data Marketing". In our terms that'll be 4,968 four-year-old cats in London with red hair prefer brand X.
Apparently they are building the biggest pool of subscriber data in the world and to do so are luring us with free share options.

Sir Tom baby
Worth over £50 million, the big Welshman Sir Tom Jones has had top ten hits each and every decade since his first No 1 single "It's Not Unusual" way back in the mid sixties.
At 65 the Welsh sex-bomb has little time for boredom, in the past few years he's done some of his best work with Van Morrison, Tina Turner, The Stereophonics and Cerys Matthews.
At a time when most folk might be slowing down he's releasing yet another record with dance DJ Chicane. Stoned In Love, by Chicane featuring Tom Jones, is released on April 24 through Globe Records/Universal Music.
Well done Sir Tom!
