Willow 10 Year Old - Trendsetter

Will...we keep it in the family!

Having thoroughly enjoyed Karate Kid with child actor, rapper, songwriter, dancer, and martial arts expert...Jaden Smith. We now have 10 year old Willow Smith rocking the charts with her hit single "Whip My Hair."

People are asking if this incredibly adorable and talented daughter of Will Smith has become one of the youngest trendsetters of our time, from her unique hair styles to the shoes she wears on her feet.

Kids are getting older younger, but just how young is too young to establish your own personal style? We don't think there are any hard and fast rules to say what age it's appropriate for someone to set their own trends in fashion. Take Jimmy Osmond for example...or not as the case may be!
For sure some people adore Willow's shaved hairstyle, animal prints and padded jackets while others think the look is much too grown up for a ten year old.

Personally, we think that Willow is a trendsetter...she rocks!
...and we're off to get the sides of our heads shaved.

Over to you Mr & Mrs Smith!

WPP Hangs Fox

From Ad agency to art gallery, Hogarth Worldwide are slap bang in the middle of London's gallery district. Based on Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End, the WPP owned agency has just hung the work of eight artists on its walls.

The 18th century artist Hogarth's name, played a part in the branding of the agency, and the 250 staff got a pleasant surprise this morning, arriving at work to see the likes of American pop-art from Nathan Fox covering the stairwell from ground to sixth floor.

You’ll need to be a visitor to the agency to get a sneak preview, or pretend you’ve lost your way to The Ivy and ask reception for directions!

Well Heeled

Are shorter people getting taller or taller people getting taller still?
Whichever way around it is, Kurt Geiger is helping. Sales of Kurt’s 5” (yes 5 Inch...120mm) heels have quadrupled over the last year.
In London, Kurt Geiger heels are available at Harrods, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Liberty and Selfridges as well as its own stores.

We have to ask the question if there has been a knock on effect in the guys market, are platforms making a comeback? Or are we just taller these days?

Adland Gossip

WPP advertising boss Martin Sorrell, a UK business ambassador since 1997, has not been reappointed by UK Prime Minister David Cameron.

Is everyone scratching their head and asking why? Or has anyone thought about the tax efficient move of WWP’s headquarters to Ireland...to be sure!
