S&M Rihanna Style

Get ready for S&M...

Rihanna's new music video S&M has just come out - and it's apparently so raunchy that YouTube have put an "inappropriate" flag on it!

Rihanna uses it as a stage to take a hit at the press, wearing a newspaper print gown and being kidnapped by journalists as headlines run over the screen... she writhes around dressed in latex, tied up in ropes, and...eats a banana...

What do you think?

Yep, it's today folks!

No prizes for guessing the experts tips on this one, apparently one of the main obstacles in viewing the moon taking a big bite out of the sun will be clouds...no really!

Anyway, if you are lucky enough to get a glimpse take great care and be sure to wear some proper solar glasses.

There are some pretty neat tools and gadgets here to figure out the best time to view the partial eclipse in your neighbourhood -

TikTok and LunaTik Watch Kits

TikTok and LunaTik simply transform the iPod Nano into the world's coolest multi-touch watches. The idea to use the Nano as a watch was an obvious one ever since the product was announced. Designed to create a collection that was well designed, engineered and manufactured from premium materials and that complemented the impeccable quality of Apple products. Not just clipped on a cheap strap as an afterthought. The designer, Scott Wilson, wanted to create a product that your friends and strangers would stop you and ask "WTF is that??? And where can I get one?!"
...and we reckon he's done a pretty good job!

TikTok is a simple snap-in design. It allows the user to easily and securely snap the Nano into the wrist dock. It cleanly and simply integrates the Nano and transforms it into a modern multifunction timepiece.

LunaTik is designed and intended to be a premium conversion kit for someone that wants to dedicate their Nano to being a watch and the newest conversation piece with their friends. It is forged from Aerospace Grade Aluminum and then machined via CNC into its final form.

To get hold of one all you have to do is pledge some money to get the project going!

The Noun Project

The Noun Project’s mission is to share, celebrate, and enhance the world’s visual language. The goal is to collect and organize all the symbols that form our language into one easy-to-use online library that can be accessed by anyone. All the symbols on the site are completely free to download, and can be used for design projects, architecture presentations, art pieces - just about anything. The symbols live here: http://www.thenounproject.com/

"We think a visual language that can be understood by all cultures and people is a pretty amazing thing. We also get excited about things like scale, proportion, and shape, and are committed to design and quality in everything we do. We think these symbols are works of art worth celebrating." Edward Boatman. The Noun Project
