End of LimeWire

File sharing site LimeWire closed.
After a 4 year battle with the US music industry, LimeWire, one of the most popular peer-to-peer filesharing websites, has been shut down.

A "permanent injunction" was issued by a NYC Federal Court on Tuesday, ruling that the platform intentionally caused a "massive scale of infringement" as it permitted the sharing of thousands of copyrighted works by its 50 million monthly users.

LimeWire was founded in 2000 by former Wall Street trader, Mark Gorton. LimeWire is now restricted from allowing the searching and sharing of copyrighted material. The website will continue "working with the music industry to move forward", a LimeWire spokeswoman confirmed.

Italian Miniskirt ban

Italian seaside town Castellammare di Stabia planning miniskirt ban.
The dress code would ban everything from miniskirts to low-cut jeans . A seaside city in Italy is planning to ban miniskirts and other revealing clothing to improve what the mayor calls standards of public decency.
Everything else from sandcastles, kissing in cars, feeding stray cats, wooden clogs to the use of lawn mowers at weekends has been banned in other places...so why not!
