Breakfast-time sex

It's what celebrity gossip is all about, it's the sort of thing we are all waiting, some even craving for, at last a major gossip scoop.... The whole world seems to be talking about Sian Williams, the BBC's Breakfast programme presenter. Sian's marriage is on the rocks after more than just a fling with one of the corporation's senior executives. Strange, as Williams is not the first to be had by her boss for breakfast, her predecessor, Natasha Kaplinsky, left her partner after an affair with a TV producer. At the time Kaplinsky was covering for Sophie Raworth who was on maternity leave! Questions need to be asked, are the BBC involved in a secret (or not so secret now!) cloning project for future presenters? And hey, what about the nine o'clock watershed?

Romance, cigarettes & maternity underwear

Sexy British lingerie brand Agent Provocateur is launching a line of maternity underwear. We have it on good authority that maternity physician Gowri Motha, (physician to the stars...Elle Macpherson, Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow) leant a hand in the designs. Meanwhile John Turturro, Writer and Director of 'Romance and Cigarettes', a film portraying the family man’s torrid affair with flame-haired Agent Provocateur shop girl Tula (Kate Winslet), summed up his latest work - "I’d say it was a down-and-dirty love story with music", he told Agent Provocateur’s Roving Reporter Salima Saxton. Romance and Cigarettes. Released March 24th 2006 in the UK.

Sugababes aplenty

What a night! Unfortunately we could not get to NYC to be with Kate at the Calvin Klein party, but we did manage to slip into the Baglioni Hotel, London to catch the Sintillate party for the Sugababes. We hid behind the ranks of personalised Muse bags and caught sight of Millionaire city trader Surhir Singh with the gorgeous Sophie Anderton hanging off his arm....or was it the other way around? Anyway, a few good words of support were overheard for Kate and a big ditch vote on the Doherty front...and lots of other words not fitting for our gossip hungry crowds.

Trend Marketing

Well we thought we'd heard it all, but the very latest (in fact not yet launched) is from the upstart marketing outfit Media Propensity. We've heard a rumour that these guys, backed by a leading economist and some hot-shots from the marketing and advertising world, are about to shake things up a little with what they call "Base Data Marketing". In our terms that'll be 4,968 four-year-old cats in London with red hair prefer brand X. Apparently they are building the biggest pool of subscriber data in the world and to do so are luring us with free share options. Well I'm in!
